Queens’ beloved World’s Fair are back today to formally announce its debut album, New Lows. In conjunction with the news, the group also shares the project’s first single titled “Elvis’ Flowers (On My Grave),” an ode to the legendary New York City club, Elvis Guesthouse. The song, which takes us all on a trip back to classic New York City raps, arrives with video accompaniment courtesy of the group’s own Nasty Nigel. You’ll find the rap brethrens captured on film as they voyage through a New York City night filled with ecstasy, paranoia and claustrophobia all in one.

In speaking about the song and its accompanying visual, Nigel says:

“The deeper DJ Thoth and I got into DJing at Elvis Guesthouse, the more we experimented with BPMs and tempos finding a middle ground to please both ourselves and the crowd. Lansky Jones, NOLIFE and myself flew over to Detroit to link up with Black Noi$e and work on this album. Naturally ‘Elvis’ Flowers’ came from blending jungle and rap the same way we were experimenting behind the decks. The music video documents that year running around New York City and the watering hole that was Elvis Guesthouse.”

World’s Fair will be release their New Lows album in the coming weeks via Fools Gold. Stay tuned and also stream the single now on all music streaming platforms.
