Nike SB Wants You to Skate the Hell out of These "Light Bone" Air Jordan 1s

Yesterday we saw a preview of the Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 “Court Purple” editions, and now we’re privy to a “Light Bone” edition that encourages distressing.

The silhouette, once again an Air Jordan 1 and with the help of Nike SB, arrives in a Light Bone foreground colorway that sees a fairly neutral grey wrapping around its upper. For contrast, hits of black are found on the Swoosh, ankle wrap and Wings. Once the sneaker sees some distress action — presumably through skating — the sneaker will alter to a more vibrant color combo.

Also similar to the previous pair, the Light Bone will distress to a colorway loosely reminiscent of the Chicago — the Light Bone will shift to a more subdued red/pink while the black will change to a sparkling red/violet. Black laces, white outsole and supple leather toebox/side panels round out the unaltered parts. The result is far less dramatic to yesterday’s preview, but a sneaker with a story nevertheless.
