With another week, we have another installment of our product drops series this time marked by Supreme‘s latest collaboration with Nike. The duo put together a selection of retro-themed sportswear led by water-resistant nylon-hooded sports jackets and matching warm-up pants. Palace also put together an expansive collaboration with Moroccan fashion designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac to accompany its Summer 2019 drop 4. Aside from Supreme’s Week 13 drop and Palace’s drop 4, this week we have an impressive array of powerhouse team-ups and seasonal offerings and special drops that make up a selection of must-have street staples.
Standout collaborations this week come from KITH and Tommy Hilfiger which brought back the Hyperbole Running Sneaker, Levi’s and Heron Preston came together to celebrate 501 Day and BAPE tapped Lil Yachty for a playfully illustrated capsule. Other releases include the first drop of Babylon LA‘s Spring/Summer 2019 collection, Aimé Leon Dore‘s new Summer 2019 capsule and another expertly crafted set of parkas from “Stone Island_ Prototype Research_Series 04.”

To celebrate 501 Day, Levi’s tapped Heron Preston for a limited selection of reworked pairs of denim. Building on the classic 501 jean, the “original blue jean” has been reimagined with a workwear-influence.
The men’s iteration features a grey and white tie-dye print on the front, accompanied by drawstrings and Heron’s signature orange branding patch. Similarly, the women’s take is an Earthy approach, where the front has been cast with a faded orange treatment, while ripped details give it a tattered aesthetic.

Returning with its SS19 collection, Babylon LA maintained its distinct street ethos with a distinct range defined by a range of graphic assortments alongside well-mandated cut & sew pieces.
Looking towards the warm weather ahead of us, the Los Angeles-based label put together a selection of light outerwear from double layered flannels, all over woven crewnecks, half zip polar fleeces, and the newly engineered waterproof snake print jacket. Accompanying items include two iterations of button-up shirts with matching shorts, as well as various graphic-infused T-shirts and mid-layers.

Continuing with its releases, Aimé Leon Dore recently released a Summer 2019 capsule collection comprised of everything from outerwear and swimwear to everyday accessories.
Leading the selection are breathable mesh knits, embroidered shirts and coach jackets, leading into T-shirts marked with illustrations of nude women, retro-futurist cars and World’s Fair-inspired graphics. Athletic and swim shorts, striped polos, corduroy hats, suede-trimmed shoulder bags and leather loafers serve to round up the casual yet classy collection from ALD.

Lil Yachty and BAPE have come together to create a playful collection centered around illustrations of the rapper. Following the animation style originally drawn by designer MANKEY, illustrated Yachty is placed beside BAPE sidekick Baby Milo.
Over on the hoodies, the front portion sees both Yachty and Milo standing next to each other while the back spotlights a giant portrait of Yachty’s face. The tees will also feature this design along with an alternate graphic showcasing both Lil Boat and Milo in a boat sailing in a river.

Always looking to increase its arsenal of unique technical construction techniques, Stone Island‘s “Stone Island_ Prototype Research_Series 04” collection introduces what the brand is calling “MANUAL FLOCKING ON NYLON METAL GRID-OVD.”
The special method utilized on a selection of limited-edition fishtail parkas is grounded in experimental fabrics that combine the brand’s signature iridescent look with a new flocking technique. Stone Island’s “Nylon Metal” material is used in the construction and sprayed with a water-based adhesive before being exposed to the cotton flock. The jackets then get double-dyed to create unique one-of-a-kind saturated shells.
After going through the process, each item is expected to come out with a different variation of the treatment, making every garment unique.

Know for its collaborations, KITH recently teamed up with Tommy Hilfiger on an SS19 collection that celebrates the world of seaside leisure tied with the Hilfiger’s longstanding label.
An air of Summer vacation is reflected in an array of garments like branded tank tops, lightweight jackets, short-sleeve button-ups, bucket hats, swim shorts and sneakers. Distinctive design elements include bold color-blocking and multi-paneled silhouettes, a nod to ’90s-era Hilfiger archives, while KITH branding and refined cuts offer a contemporary outlook to the garments. Some notable designs include Monogram Track Suits, Satin Camp Shirt, Nautical Popovers and Boxing Shorts.
Rounding up the range is the remastered take on Tommy Hilfiger’s Hyperbole Running Sneaker originally released in 1990. Most of the OG details of the retro sneakers have been kept intact, with subtle KITH branding added on the tongue, outsole, and footbeds.

Palace Skateboards is now prepping to drop a collaboration with Moroccan fashion designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac for its ongoing Summer 2019 releases. The expansive range is comprised of hoodies, sweaters, graphic short-sleeved button-ups and T-shirts, accompanied by caps, bucket-hats and a deck of cards. Decoration found on the street-leaning pieces come in the form of a reworked Palace Tri-Ferg logo comprised of colorful arms giving the middle finger, rock-and-roll and peace signs, along with de Castelbajac’s inserts of an “Ace” logo into Palace’s iconography which has been fittingly spotlighted on the deck of cards and bucket-hats.
Keeping things light with its accompanying Summer 2019 Drop 4, Palace readied a light selection of street staples led by retro sportswear-inspired track jackets, a colorful marble-themed “P” logo cap and a selection of “PALACE LONDON” T-shirts, available in teal, lavender, black and blue with contrasting text.

This week Supreme has readied its latest collaboration with frequent collaborator Nike for a sure-to-sellout release centered around vintage sportswear. Leading the team up are water-resistant nylon hooded sports jackets and matching warm-up pants marked with big Nike Swoosh branding and retro color blocking. Other items included in the release include hooded sweatshirts with matching sweatpants, jacquard logo sweaters and nylon shoulder bags.
For Week 13 of its SS19 releases, the accompanying range features standouts like a multi-pattern Reversible Patchwork quilted jacket, wool blend Plaid Suit, twill appliqué Motherfucker Hooded Sweatshirt and colorful Racing New Era caps. This week’s boldly branded accessories are Pelican 3310PL Flashlights available in classic Supreme red or an alternate glow-in-the-dark colorway.
